Are you ready to lead the future of payment technology? As a Cards Product Owner in the Digital organization, you'll oversee all Credit and Debit card technology and services. Your goal will be to ensure a seamless payment experience for our members by managing the entire Product Lifecycle. This includes support for Credit and Debit Cards, Instant Debit Card Issues, ATM Networks, Credit Card processing, Digital Card Services, and Merchant card processing. You'll monitor industry trends, research new technologies, and recommend updates to keep our products current. What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a Financial Institution or Financial Technology
- 1-3 years in roles such as Debit or Credit Card Analyst, Technical Product Manager, IT Business Analyst, IT Systems Analyst, or similar positions
- Experience managing a Debit or Credit Card Portfolio
- Familiarity with merchant processing networks, core banking systems, ATM networks, and card printing technologies is preferred
What you will do:
- Ensure frequent new product development and enhancements that align with credit union resources, philosophy, member needs, and strategies
- Provide recommendations for product enhancements, eliminations, improvements, and new revenue opportunities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of product technology, descriptions, features, and operations, including end-to-end functionality
- Drive product enhancements with a member-centric approach, placing the member at the center of every decision
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including roadmaps, Agile backlogs (features, user stories), data flow diagrams, product canvases, process flows, user acceptance testing documentation, and total cost of ownership tracking
- Utilize internal and industry data to determine and manage appropriate metrics and KPIs
- Manage vendor relationships, including contracts, invoicing, technology recommendations, upgrade/downtime communication, feature/functionality, and escalated product support
