Work model :What you will do :
- Manage the coordination and overall integration of control systems design activities for engineering projects
- Collaborate with multiple internal product groups to manage the design of machine control systems, user interfaces / displays, and overall electronics architecture.
- Direct, review, or approve product design changes related to control systems
- Finalize product specifications in coordination with management, production, and marketing staff
- Schedule, execute, and oversee testing and validation of control systems design, operation, or updates in coordination with mechanical design teams
- Analyze production and field issues and create solutions
- Perform and organize product updates
- Communicate effectively with dealers and customers to understand their needs and machine requirements
- Review, recommend, or approve suppliers; manage supplier quality, product reviews, purchased items, and cost estimates
- Develop or implement policies, standards, or procedures for control systems work
- Develop and evaluate controls engineering staff
- Supervise and support assigned personnel to ensure performance meets or exceeds expectations
- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing or writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing standards, and purchasing materials or services
- Follow safe design practices to prevent user injury and property damage
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a major in mechanical, industrial, agriculture, or electrical Engineering and / or a combination of education and a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Preferred experience in software development using Danfoss Plus 1 Guide, Parker IQAN, Simulink, or similar PLC / logic-based programming languages
- Understanding of robotics, automation, CAN J1939 Protocols, sensors, engines, and hydraulic controls preferred
- 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering of offroad equipment with extensive collaboration with Controls Engineers would be considered
