What you will do:
- Design fluid blending, storage, and handling systems
- Manage projects supporting company expansion and cost reduction
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase productivity
- Improve plant equipment and instrumentation
- Select and configure components for fluid handling and measurement
- Design piping and select pumps for various liquids
- Develop layouts for production equipment
- Manage capital projects, controlling scope, schedule, and budget
- Estimate engineering time, material, labor costs, and implementation schedules
- Participate in project implementation and ensure systems meet specifications
- Provide engineering advice to operations and management
- Maintain engineering documentation and standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
What you will need to be successful:
- 5 years of experience in fluid handling design
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering
- Experience managing capital projects
- Experience with equipment vendors and contractors
- Proficiency in 3D CAD applications (AutoCAD & Revit preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to analyze data for process improvements
- Engineer In Training (EIT) certification
