What you will do:
- Develop and enforce Service Department processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to set goals and budgets aligned with company objectives.
- Recruit, hire, manage, and develop Service Department employees to foster teamwork and high morale.
- Coordinate customer clinics, field days, and promotional events.
- Submit timely service warranty and PIP claims; schedule jobs, review work orders, and maintain tools and equipment.
- Lead and motivate a team of service technicians.
- Deliver excellent customer service skills and satisfactorily resolve customer issues.
- Review and analyze service department results to assist in business planning, marketing, and goal development.
What you will need to be successful:
- A minimum of a 2-year college degree
- 3 years of experience in customer service - leadership experience is preferred
- Experience with automotive/farming machinery parts and services is preferred
- Background in Ag (business, farming, machinery/equipment)
- Technical/Mechanical acumen
- A go-getter attitude with a desire to set and meet goals and motivate others to do the same
- Good driving record
- Ability to work in a wide variety of environments if and when a need arises
