About the Role:
As a Machine Operator, Level 1, you will be responsible for the set-up and operation of various fabrication machines, including punch presses, to manufacture parts that meet our high-quality standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining production flow, ensuring precision, and collaborating with your team to achieve department goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Set-Up & Operation: Efficiently set up and operate various fabrication machines, including punch presses, according to production schedules and product specifications.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of materials and finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify defects in raw materials and alert the team leader immediately.
- Production Goals: Consistently meet or exceed established production rates while maintaining a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Material Handling: Safely move materials within the department using both power and manual equipment, ensuring efficient workflow and production processes.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with co-workers, team leaders, and supervisors, addressing any issues promptly to maintain a smooth and productive work environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to assist with various tasks within the department as needed, demonstrating a team-first attitude and adaptability.
