What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asst. Food Service Director position at Palmer Healthcare Center?
Skilled nursing facility is currently seeking a HEAD COOK.
This person would be working as a cook in our kitchen and also being a backup to our Food Service Director when he is on vacation or has time off.
Requirements:
Must be a Certified Food Manager, or a Certified Dietary Manager, or have an associate’s or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality.
Knowledge of therapeutic diets.
1-2 years of experience as a cook in a nursing home setting.
1-2 years of supervisory experience.
Must have your ServSafe Certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
