As our client base continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take on a key role in tax compliance and client advisory services. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a public accounting setting and enjoys working directly with clients.
As a Senior Accountant, you will manage tax engagements from start to finish, contribute to strategic tax planning, and provide hands-on support to both clients and junior team members. You will work directly with business owners, executives, and individuals to deliver value beyond compliance.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to clients throughout the year
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication
- Coordinate with team members to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Assist in the development of junior staff through training and on-the-job guidance
- Stay informed of current tax law changes and ensure client strategies remain compliant and optimized
✅ 5 years of experience in public accounting, ideally at a regional or small firm
✅ Strong tax preparation and planning skills across a variety of entity types
✅ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset
✅ High degree of accuracy, autonomy, and accountability
✅ CPA license preferred, but not required if experience is robust
✅ Experience with modern tax software (UltraTax or similar)
