What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Warehouse Associate position at Palmer Logistics?

- Prepare product for shipping including but not limited to labeling, banding, stretch wrapping, block and brace, cleaning drums and totes, and restack bags and pails.
- Verify shipments for accuracy, document and report any discrepancies.
- Inspect and perform quality checks on orders prior to shipping.
- Utilize RF scanner.
- Follow established company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse and office personnel to meet productivity goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.
- Must have 1-3 years of warehouse experience in a logistics environment.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
- Must be able to work in a congested area(s) and non-climate controlled warehouse.
- Handling hazardous material is a plus.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, adjust the body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat, and grab; walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
