Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients and case managers to review and verify provider lists.
- Request medical and billing records from healthcare providers and facilities.
- Proactively follow up with providers and vendors to ensure timely receipt of all required records.
- Work closely with attorneys and case managers to provide timely updates on the status of record requests.
- Track and manage deadlines related to medical record retrieval to support case timelines effectively.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury law, with a thorough understanding of relevant statutes, healthcare providers, and medical record procurement procedures.
- Compassionate, dedicated, and goal-driven professional with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
- Approachable and empathetic with excellent interpersonal skills and the patience necessary for effective client interactions.
- Proven ability to work independently while efficiently managing multiple case files.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Medical Records: 1 year (Required)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience with Clio software (Preferred)
- Must be able to commute to Addison/Dallas, TX 75001 (Required)
- In-office at our Addison location, with the flexibility to work remotely up to one day per week.
- Pay: $40,000 and up starting salary depending on experience with room for growth
