Transactional Legal Assistant

Their fast-paced, complex, and varied transactional practice demands a high level of expertise, precision, and dedication. The Firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with 2 years of experience in transactional law to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting legal professionals in delivering top-notch legal services. This is an in office position. Firm hours are from 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm

Status : Direct Hire

Salary : $70K-80K DOE

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Transactional / Bankruptcy Support : Assist attorneys with various aspects of transactional law, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and contract management. Creditors' rights bankruptcy support.
• Registered Agent Duties : Ensure that all legal documents and official communications are properly managed and timely processed for clients we serve as registered agent for.
• SCC Filings : Prepare and file documents with the State Corporation Commission (SCC), including articles of incorporation, amendments, and annual reports.
• Client Interaction : Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Electronic Billing for Clients to include Tymetrix, Legal Tracker etc.
• General Administrative Tasks : Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, billing and perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the transactional team.
