What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Inspector - Entry Level position at Palmer Wahl Instruments Inc?
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspection operations on parts, products, and incoming materials
- Conduct and prepare test reports
- Communicate with customers and vendors as needed
- Maintain databases for equipment calibrations and work with purchasing to maintain calibrations.
- Work with departments for in-process quality checks
- Perform other jobs as needed
Requirements:
- Must be able to read various measurement equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, ring and plug gages.
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Be able to use Microsoft office products such as Excel, Word, and Access to maintain data and generate reports.
- Be open to learning company ERP system to find shipment and order data.
- Must be able to pay attention to detail, able to learn technologies, be a self-starter, and reliable.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Some knowledge of electronics is preferred.
Hours of work: 6 am to 4:30 pm 4 days per week (Monday ? Thursday). OT may be expected as part of job duties.
Education:
High School degree or equivalent is required.
Wage: $15-$17/hour
