Palmerton Area School District is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated High School Biology Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students in the study of biology, fostering a love for science while ensuring a solid foundation in biological concepts. The position involves creating engaging lesson planes, utilizing hands-on experiments, and incorporating technology to enhance student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive biology curriculum aligned with state and national standards.
• Create engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
• Utilize various teaching methods, including lab experiments, group discussions, and digital resources.
• Assess and monitor student progress through exams, quizzes, projects, and class participation.
• Provide support and guidance to students with different learning styles and needs.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding academic performance and behavioral expectations.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as needed.

Qualifications:
