- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year’s secretarial experience, preferred.
- Possess advanced computer skills including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Windows, and Google Suite
- Ability to multi-task within deadlines
- Ability to obtain knowledge of CSIU software and Powerschool
- Ability to effectively prioritize assigned tasks.
- Ability to effectively operate office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, telephone system, fax machine, copier, and calculator.
- Keyboard proficient
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, parents/guardians, and administrators.
- Ability to organize and plan effectively.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Provide secretarial support to Building Principal including, but not limited to, PowerSchool, CSIU, word processing, maintaining schedules, conference scheduling, mailings, filing, copying, faxing, and general office duties.
- Process and distribute daily mail.
- Answer and respond to incoming telephone calls in a courteous manner.
- Respond appropriately to student issues.
- Greet visitors and respond to visitor security system.
- Prepare daily announcements.
- Process student discipline notices as directed by the Building Principal
- Assist in the development of the budget.
- Ability to create purchase orders.
- Manage activities accounts.
- Prepare and send out student correspondence.
- Prepare and conduct end-of-school year processing for teachers and students.
- Enter data into student database including, but not limited to, student attendance.
- Process employee absences.
- Other duties as assigned by the Building Principal
