Job Summary:
The Pool & Fitness Center Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe pool and fitness center environment for members to enjoy. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Essential Job Functions:
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
- Effectively and efficiently handle member and guest requests.
- Maintain & Organize facility linen needs.
- Ensuring the pool and fitness center area is kept clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
- Greeting all guests in your section with towels and water
- Complete opening & closing procedures for the Pool & Fitness Department
- Completing set up and breakdown of all service cabanas as designated by management.
- Completing walk-throughs of pool and fitness center area to make certain it is impeccable.
- Ensuring all chairs are in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Inspecting entire pool area replacing any missing items and/or repairing (when possible) any items needing attention. (ex. umbrellas, chairs, menu holders, flags)
- Complete daily departmental procedures
- Relay accurate information to members and guests
- Assist with inventories and reconciliation.
- Monitor pool capacity and ensure proper ID card is used to access the pool area.
Qualifications:
- Hotel, Resort or club experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to provide the highest level of customer service in the industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills; team oriented
- Must be detail oriented and organized with ability to multi-task.
Physical Demands:
- Most tasks are performed outdoors in variable weather conditions, including hot, cold, windy and wet weather.
- Temperature can be extreme but is usually moderate.
- Frequently works near moving/mechanical parts.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to reach with arms and hands; bend and stoop; remain at post standing for extended periods of time; required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; place and move chairs, umbrella, etc.
