Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, hydraulic presses, extruders, and kilns.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to ensure seamless plant operations.
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
