Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Nighttime Street Sweeper. This role involves operating Commercial street-sweeping vehicles and equipment to clean Highways, Bridges, sidewalks, and public spaces during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and safety in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate street-sweeping trucks and equipment to remove debris, dirt, and litter from roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of sweeping equipment, such as checking fluid levels and clearing blockages.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following traffic regulations.
- Report any road hazards, obstructions, or mechanical issues to the appropriate department.
- Work in various weather conditions and adjust operations as needed based on road conditions.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate cleaning efforts and address special requests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
