The Toptracer Range offers a fully interactive social experience that is perfect for golfers of all levels. Guests can enjoy delicious food and fun cocktails while they compete in a variety of games, improve their skills or simply be introduced to the game of golf.
You will be a part of the team whose job is to help Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort engage with all its audiences to create a memorable golf experience at the Resort and the Toptracer Range by leading the Bay Host team who serve and assist guests during their visit. You play an integral role in ensuring our Guests have exceptional experiences.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Lead and manage the team in each working shift.
• Introduce yourself and create good rapport with all patrons. Greet all members and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Display a positive, friendly, outgoing attitude that welcomes guest. When interacting with each guest, leave them with a "WOW" story to tell about their experience.
• Share customer impact stories with your team in meetings and with management.
• Maintains the cleanest restaurant environment possible and overall sanitation.
• Ensures that all Bay Host sales reporting is completed and accurately recorded, deposits are made in accordance to accounting procedures.
• Responsible for training new Bay Hosts on daily procedures and customer service expectations.
• Assists managers with product ordering and communicates any inventory issues.
• Assist staff with daily issues that may arise.
• Empowered to decide on appropriate service recovery methods per individual scenario.
• Recommends disciplinary action to manager.
• Assists manager with employee evaluations and other administrative duties.
• Advise manager of any complaints and action steps taken.
• Perform clean-up and closing duties as needed.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
• Bay Host Supervisor (21 ) should maintain knowledge of simple cocktails and beer and be comfortable mixing simple alcoholic beverages.
• Ensure all cash and credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
• Assist guest in use of Toptracer technology.
• Serve as a source of information for the guests and to put them at ease. Promote other company amenities at every opportunity.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Take orders of guests: assist in drink and menu selection; inform guests about food preparation details and daily specials.
• Interact with point of sale (POS) to place orders with kitchen: stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations; knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any item; communicating specific guest needs to cook and bar staff.
• Responsible for reservation management, over-the-net management, and guest services.
• Responsible for range ball maintenance and distribution of clean, range balls to guests.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Previous Leadership experience preferred
• Maintain proper dress code and present a pleasant attitude at all times.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of touchscreen enabled technology is required
• Basic golf knowledge a plus
• Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
• Positive interpersonal skills required
• Must speak English fluently and be able to read/write in basic English
• Must be at least 21 years of age;
