Maintenance Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the appearance, functionality, and overall upkeep of the Palmetto Dunes community. This role involves maintaining critical systems and equipment, supporting homeowner needs, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and infrastructure.

Full-time, day shift, weekends required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the appearance and functionality of the Palmetto Dunes community by ensuring all systems and equipment are in proper working order.
• Support the upkeep of the lagoon system, ensuring its continued function and appearance in alignment with community standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all PDPOA facilities, including gatehouses, administrative offices, and security buildings.
• Maintain and repair community signage, ensuring all signs are clean, visible, and in good condition.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of roadways and walkways, including the installation and repair of these surfaces to maintain safety and aesthetics.

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting homeowners with various needs, such as the installation of new mailboxes, and addressing their concerns in a polite and supportive manner.
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of PDPOA vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are in proper working condition.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in landscaping, irrigation, and turf management
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with homeowners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
