Position Summary :
Under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services and the Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy modalities and treatments in accordance with the established hospital and departmental policies and procedures and under the guidelines of the board of professional regulations and the occupational therapy practice act. Maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care at all times.
Qualifications / Education and Certification Requirements :
Education :
- Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience Knowledge of the principles and applications of Occupational Therapy Modalities and treatments.
- Capability to evaluate and assess the patients condition.
- Knowledge of Infection Control, and Body Mechanics Techniques to be applied during patient care.
- One year experience, recent graduate will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills
Required licenses / certifications :
Must clear background and drug test required.
