Position Summary:
The RN Quality Coordinator EX, under the direction of the QMO (Quality and Infection Control), is a licensed professional nurse that works collaboratively with the health care team, is customer focused and strives to meet unit and hospital goals in order to promote quality care for the stroke patients.
Position Qualification:
- Five or more years of clinical experience in ED, Critical Care, or Neuro ICU Unit.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of general nursing theories and practice.
- Experience in data collection, entry, and analysis required.
- Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Current state Registered Nurse Licensure.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization.
