What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Unit Driver - PT - Florence position at Palmetto Goodwill?
- Demonstrate Palmetto Goodwill's Amazing Customer Experience (ACE) Culture, I-CARE Values, Mission, and Vision in all actions.
- Work closely with Career Navigator to coordinate trips to and from service areas.
- Operate Mobile Unit (RV) in a safe manner abiding by all applicable State and local transportation rules and regulations.
- Perform pre‐trip inspections on vehicle prior to starting route. Maintain log of scheduled trips.
- Keep vehicle clean inside and out.
- Perform post‐trip inspections on vehicle and notify the Lead Career Navigator of any concerns.
- Ensure that first aid kit and fire extinguisher are maintained, (i.e., notify Lead Career Navigator for any first aid replacement items, check inspection date on fire extinguisher).
- Comply with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout all work areas; maintain same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.
- Perform other job-related duties as required and assigned.
- Must possess a valid South Carolina or just driver's license and automobile insurance acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance carrier.
- Must have a safe driving record and provide a copy of the 3‐year Motor Vehicle Report history.
- Must be able to read a map and organize route schedule with Career Navigator.
- Must be familiar with assigned area.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
