About the Role:
The AIC Technician is under the direct supervision of a Nurse Manger. AIC Technicians reconstitute medications in the AIC to be administered by the Registered Nurse or CMA.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM.
Service areas: West Columbia, Aiken, Evans, GA.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience/Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Work experience in reconstituting medications.
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Essential Functions:
- Completes and demonstrates work related competencies based on business line and work duties.
- Reconstitutes medications per orders.
- Assists with clinic inventory.
- Follows all regulation standards maintains logs for cleaning, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Monitors and retrieves expired medications from stock.
- Abides by all Palmetto Infusion Policies and Procedures.
