About the Role:

This position is responsible for configuring and maintaining company computers, laptops, printers, and other equipment. Also respond to level two elevated help desk tickets for end user support. Help maintain the company computer and printer fleet inventory. Perform scheduled routine maintenance on IT equipment.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • ITF , A , or similar entry level certification or an associate degree in lieu of these certifications
  • 2 years of relevant experience in IT related field.
  • Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
  • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate as the first line of resolution for help desk requests through the dedicated helpdesk phone extension or tickets entered via the service desk web portal.
  • Help users with computer and software issues including Microsoft O365 products.
  • Help users with corporate email for computers and mobile devices.
  • Help users with network printer setup and troubleshooting.
  • Help users with remote access via corporate VPN.
  • Help users troubleshoot issues with Electronic Medical Records system.
  • Unlock accounts and reset passwords on various systems for users.
  • Assist with setup of new computers and other equipment.
  • Support employees after hours via a rotational on-call schedule
  • Assist other members of the IT department with special projects as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, talk, and hear. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
