Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Customer Service Coordinator/Admin Assistant to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our practice while providing outstanding customer service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Schedule appointments.
- Support administrative tasks such as scanning, errands etc.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve patient satisfaction and office efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a medical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with medical office software. Athena experience a plus!
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
