LPN Clinical Coordinator – Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center

Carolina Interventional Pain Institute is a leading outpatient ambulatory surgery center specializing in ophthalmology and interventional pain management. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive, collaborative environment. We are seeking a dedicated LPN Clinical Coordinator to support our clinical team and ensure excellence in patient care.
Position Overview: As the LPN Clinical Coordinator, you will assist in the daily clinical operations of the surgery center, supporting efficient, safe, and high-quality care for our patients. This role involves working closely with the nursing staff, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. As a small ASC, this role includes direct patient care responsibilities under the supervision of an RN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate with nursing staff in daily operations and patient care activities
- Assist in clinical operations to maintain high standards of patient care
- Work collaboratively with physicians, RNs, and other staff to coordinate patient care
- Support compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., AAAHC, DHEC)
- Help maintain and implement policies and procedures as directed
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with supply management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide direct patient care within LPN scope of practice
- Assist in patient education and communication
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in SC
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in ambulatory surgical settings preferred
- Clinical nursing experience as an LPN in ophthalmology, interventional pain, or similar surgical settings preferred
