Our perfect candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative professional who combines strong organizational skills with excellent patient care abilities. You will assist in the daily clinical operations of the surgery center, supporting efficient, safe, and high-quality care for our patients. As a small ASC, this role includes direct patient care responsibilities under the supervision of an RN.
Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Experience in ophthalmology, interventional pain, or similar surgical settings is preferred. We will provide comprehensive training with the knowledge you need to succeed. Major Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Supporting and coordinating with nursing staff in daily operations and patient care activities
- Assisting in clinical operations to maintain high standards of patient care
- Working collaboratively with physicians, RNs, and other staff to coordinate patient care
- Supporting compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., AAAHC, DHEC)
- Helping maintain and implement policies and procedures as directed
- Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with supply management
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Providing direct patient care within scope of practice
- Assisting in patient education and communication
