Palmetto Pain Management is an interventional pain management practice seeking a dedicated Procedure Scheduler to join our team. Our 9 provider practice currently provides conservative and interventional pain, regenerative medicine, and other outpatient treatment services to 100 patients per day. Our busy facility is known for our friendly, outgoing, and professional staff.
Our perfect candidate is a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who combines strong organizational skills with a warm, welcoming demeanor. You should be comfortable discussing financial matters with patients while maintaining sensitivity and understanding of their medical situations. Experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.

Major Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Calculating and explaining out-of-pocket procedure costs to patients while maintaining a supportive and understanding approach
- Coordinating and scheduling procedures both in-person and via phone
- Managing multiple providers' procedure schedules efficiently
- Verifying insurance coverage and benefits for scheduled procedures
- Preparing and organizing procedure-related documentation
- Building and maintaining positive patient relationships while handling sensitive financial discussions
- Processing payments and managing financial arrangements for procedures
- Ensuring smooth patient flow and coordination between departments for scheduled procedures
