Responsibilities (Dispatch)

·         Answer phones, take orders and payments

·         Providing customers with information about services, pricing, and scheduling

·         Addressing and resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner

·         Communicating with management to foresee scheduling needs based on seasonal changes or customer demands

·         Always displaying excellent customer service in and around the office with all customers

·         Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance

·         Enter data into Cargas, maintain logs, and records of calls, activities and other information

·         Provide Drivers with information about orders, obstacles, and requirements necessary to do their jobs

·         Bring creative ideas to the workplace to improve routing efficiency

·         Positive attitude a must

·         Account maintenance – look at accounts to improve inefficiencies and out of gas deliveries

Requirements (Dispatch)

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         2-4 years of experience in the field or related area

·         Familiar with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

·         Will rely on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish

·         Excellent multitasking ability and communication skills

·         Excellent critical thinking skills

** Knowledge of surrounding area, topology; roads are helpful, but not required. **

Working conditions:

• Consistent communication with all departments, coworkers and management
• Must be able to utilize systems technology effectively and consistently.
• Must be available on some nights and Weekends
