Delivery Drivers are critical to our success as they are the face of our company in their daily interactions with customers. We need weekend and evening drivers to deliver during the busy season. Do you have a CDL Class A or B and want to do something in your spare time? Do you have your Hazmat or Tanker Endorsement? If so, you could be just what we are looking for. Responsibilities:
- Deliver fuel in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct proper pre-trip inspections on trucks, including checking all fluid levels, lights, tires, and safety equipment
- Maintain the delivery truck which includes reviewing the maintenance record, performing inspections and reporting all vehicle conditions requiring attention for continued safe operation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and dispatchers
- Account for funds and inventory with a user-friendly handheld terminal.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment and equipment while adhering to OSHA, State and Federal safety regulations.
- Comply with all DOT state and federal requirements and regulations regarding hazardous materials and transportation
- Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Clean driving record with a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with no restrictions
- Have a Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Ability to lift to 50lbs repeatedly
- Physical ability to perform tasks repetitively
Working conditions:
- Must be able to work as needed indoors and outdoors at various times.
- Consistent communication with all departments, coworkers and management
- Must be able to utilize systems technology effectively and consistently.
