Service Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and record daily installations, repairs, and service work to maximize billable time and meet efficiency objectives.
• Implement Service Technician dispatch from multiple locations, maintain on-call schedules, prepare, assign and process work orders.
• Coordinate appointment lengths to plan future appointments, by assessing projects length, allocating resources and monitoring project progress
• Follow up on jobs orders to ensure timely completion.
• Enters work orders for service requests and reviews and maintains documents for accurate record keeping.
• Ensure that Company and Government safety, policy and regulatory standards are met
• Answer customer inquiries and provide superior customer service.

Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Must have ability to adapt to change daily as the demands of the job require such circumstances
• Positive attitude and ability to manage stress
• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED preferred
• Familiar with fuel service concepts, practices and procedures including related government regulations, attained through 3-5 years of dispatching or related experience.
• Basic understanding of gas and/or propane appliances and related distribution systems (training is provided).
• Basic understanding of computer concepts and usage including MS Office.
• Ability to work independently
• Must have the willingness to participate in training to grow and develop as a professional within the Propane trade and can learn multiple operating systems.
