What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Service Technician position at Palmetto Propane?
Palmetto Propane is a family-owned Propane, Refined Fuels, and Ice Company. We are expanding and searching for Service Technicians in the Moncks Corner area. Our Service Technicians will install, diagnose and service, gas lines, propane tanks, and appliances. Our Service Technicians work efficiently and hold safety as a top priority. Working in varying environmental conditions is required. We are looking for Technicians that are experienced with lifting heavy objects, physically working steadily, and are independently productive with minimal supervision. Candidates must be able to pass our training and skills assessment testing and be able to respond to Emergency Service Request when on call. If you meet these requirements, we encourage you to apply.
Qualifications of Successful Candidates include:
· CDL A or B with HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements required
· Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields a huge plus
· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills a must
· Customer Service Focused
· Verifiable Solid Work History
· Ability to meet deadlines with accomplishing safety and quality expectations
