Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee all operations at our vessel relocation company. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable day-to-day operations of the business, including managing logistics, staff, customer relationships, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the transportation or boating industry, and a passion for delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s vessel relocation operations, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise logistics planning and route scheduling, ensuring on-time and safe transportation of boats.
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Staff Management:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of drivers, logistics coordinators, and administrative staff.
- Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide training to improve skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local, state, and federal laws.
Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage the company’s budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Prepare financial reports for ownership, including profit and loss statements, budgeting, and forecasting.

Customer Relationship Management:
