What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager Multifamily (Talbert Woods Apts!) position at Palms Associates, LLC?
We are now hiring a Property Manager for Talbert Woods Apartments in Mooresville, NC (300 homes)!
Salary: Salary commensurate with experience
The Property Manager at Palms:
- Manages apartment community to achieve physical and economic occupancy goals.
- Connects with residents through outreach, social media, in person, and other means to achieve strong relationships and ensure policy and lease compliance.
- Collects income. Maximizes revenue through minimizing vacancy loss via proactive marketing and leasing strategies. Minimize delinquent rent via constant and continuous collection efforts. Recommend rental increases based on sound market research.
- Completes or ensures completion of required reports.
- Strives to resolve all customer concerns in a timely and positive manner.
- Ensures all duties assigned to Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant Manager and Leasing Consultant are executed as needed.
- Communicates constantly with Maintenance Supervisor and works with all company associates in a collaborative manner.
- Recruit, hire, develop, motivate, and supervise all leasing and maintenance staff in order to achieve operational property goals and an environment of support and team success.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in apartment community management required
- Track record of leading and developing associates to succeed in their roles and beyond.
- Ability to hold employees accountable.
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, LRO) and Microsoft Office.
- Professional business attire.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Successful track record of collecting rent
- Role-model outstanding customer service to our new and current residents
- Property management designation such as CAM, CALP, CAPS preferred.
