Palms Care Center Nursing Facility is seeking a Laundry / Housekeeping Aide with prior experience in a healthcare facility to work Part Time Monday-Friday to join our team!

Responsibilities of the laundry aide:
- Sort laundry, linen, garments, etc.
- Perform tasks such as folding and delivering residents’ laundry on a daily basis.
- Load and empty washers and dryers.
- Assist nursing staff with cleaning out residents’ closets.
- Other duties assigned as necessary.
Requirements of the laundry aide:
- Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
- Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
- Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
- Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with staff and vendors.
