What are the responsibilities and job description for the VIP Lounge Attendant position at Palms Casino Resort?
Core Job Responsibilities
Process check-in and check-out transactions for VIP’s
Assist VIP’s with questions about the city and property
Assist VIPs with booking dinner, show, etc.
Assists with guest service recovery
Maintains an Upbeat and Positive attitude at all times
Responsible for being apprised of current events in the hotel to assist VIP’s
Acts a liaison on behalf of the guest to expedite guest requests
Maintains a professional and courteous attitude towards all guests (internal and external)
Anticipating guests needs and guest expectations
Perform other job duties as requested.
- Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or relevant certificate required.
Minimum of two related experience required and two years of experience within a hotel/gaming property is preferred.
Physical Demands
Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
Work is performed in a lounge setting.
May be exposed to smoke
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.
Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
Eye/hand coordination.
Use of standard office equipment.
Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
