Position Summary
The Help Desk Technician is responsible for providing Tier 1 I.T. support for workstations and applications critical to PMG’s operations. They are also responsible for asset tracking and ordering inventory and supplies throughout the Palms Medical Group (PMG) Facilities.
Description of Primary Responsibilities
1) Respond to internal employee technical issues via phone, email, and chat
2) Install, configure, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
3) Offer technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
4) Responsible for laptop inventory control, set up, and distribution to employees
5) Responsible for secure destruction of deprecated hardware and software
6) Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
7) Manage physical access to all PMG facilities, including programing RFID badges and maintaining access logs
8) Manage Active Directory and Microsoft 365 accounts
9) Conduct routine purchases for PMG, including Medical, Dental, and general office supplies for PMG
10) Receive, organize, and distribute inventory
11) Assist the Systems Administrators with Active Directory account maintenance as needed
12) Assist the Director of IT with Network installations and troubleshooting of IP-based infrastructure
13) Assist in monitoring maintenance logs
14) Assist in management of PMG’s Emergency COOP plan (Continuance of Operations Plan)
15) Manage monitoring accounts for all on site generators
16) Shall perform other related duties as requested by the Director of Information Technology, VP of Business Continuity & Client Relations, CFO, or the CEO to improve the efficiency of PMG
