What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Therapist (SLP) position at Palms Nursing Center?
The Speech Pathologist provides Speech Pathology Services to patients referred, including assessment, treatment plan development and implementation. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play an important role in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). SLPs assess and treat patients with a wide variety of deficits, including, but not limited to, dysphagia, cognition, speech and / or communication difficulties . The Speech Pathologist assists with clinical aspects of the department, including program development and Performance Improvement activities. Works closely with the Director of Rehab and the tight knit therapy family!
