Job Summary

To ensure all banquet and meetings rooms are setup, broken down and maintained at all times according to Radisson Hotel specifications.

Job Duties /Tasks / Results/ Responsibilities

To set-up and break down all meeting rooms.
To have knowledge of different room arrangements.
To clean and maintain all banquet equipment: tables, chairs, podiums, carpet, etc.
To maintain all meeting rooms very clean: walls, carpet, windows, mirrors, etc.
Set-up meeting room tables with water, glasses, pads, and pens bowls with candy.
To assist in setting up coffee breaks when needed.
Vacuum all carpeted areas.
Pick up all debris, clean inside cabinets, drawers, under the tables, behind tables, etc.
Stored equipment to a proper place.
All shifts are to communicate with each other and the banquet captain before starting work.

Proficient in the English language. Second language is an asset.
Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
To have knowledge of seating capacity of all meeting rooms.
To be dependable and unquestionably honest.
To have the ability to work under pressure.
To be capable of understanding directions.
To be willing to accept training and constructive criticism.
To be in good health and physically strong for lifting.

Physical Demands /Requirement
Most of the time spent standing, walking or there are some requirement to lift moderate weight (10-20 pounds)

Typically located in a comfortable area. There may be regular exposure to mild discomfort from factors such as dust, odors, extreme temperature, inclement weather, noise, or lights.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to walk, stand and sit. The associate will occasionally be required to climb and use balance. Additionally, the team member will frequently be asked to use hands and arms carry and lift items. Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and distance vision.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member may experience temperature fluctuations and moderate to high levels of noise. The team member will also come in contact with noxious and abrasive chemicals that must be handled properly to ensure the safety of the team member and others.
