The Palmyra R-I School District is currently accepting applications for a High School Guidance Counselor position for the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications required: Master’s Degree in School Counseling or valid state certification for secondary school counseling with valid Missouri teaching certificate.
Job duties include but are not limited to: maintain student schedules, records, and graduation requirements; consult all stakeholders in the educational needs of students; work in a team setting as well as independently; assist students with college and career readiness skills; promote positive social and emotional development of all students; coordinate services with outside agencies; assist and report state assessment and other pertinent data; and exhibit high levels of organization along with effective time management. National Honor Society (NHS) will be included with this postion.
This position will remain open until filled.
Salary : $40,250
