Key Responsibilities:
- System Security: Oversee and manage the security of all IT systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and implementing best practices to safeguard against cyber threats.
- Infrastructure Management: Take ownership of the overall IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud services. Ensure efficient performance and scalability of systems.
- Technical Integrations: Lead the planning and execution of system integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow across internal and external platforms.
- Collaboration with MSP/AMS: Serve as the primary point of contact with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Application Managed Services (AMS) teams for handling technical issues, troubleshooting, and escalating critical issues when necessary.
- Incident Management: Proactively identify potential technical issues and risks, leading efforts to resolve them promptly and efficiently.
- Project Leadership: Manage technical aspects of key projects, coordinating with other internal teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of systems, configurations, processes, and incidents for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, services, security protocols, and cost optimization strategies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud deployment, monitoring tools, and automation processes.
- Ability to evaluate existing IT infrastructure and design a tailored, efficient cloud strategy.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and enterprise-level applications.
- Deep understanding of security best practices and IT governance.
- Strong background in managing cross-functional teams, including collaborating with external service providers (MSP/AMS).
