Job Summary
School psychology interns will have the opportunity to work in settings serving educational levels from preschool through post-secondary, and will gain experience working in more than one setting during the school year (a combination of elementary, middle, or high school). Interns are supervised by a site-based school psychologist, with one supervisor designated as primary and where interns gain experience in multiple settings by rotating through elementary and secondary placements during the third year internship. The intern will have opportunities to engage in all aspects of the work including : psychological assessments, IEP development, data analysis and presentation, counseling, consultation
with teachers, site-based staff support, ERMHS therapeutic and behavior support team collaboration, community organizational interactions, crisis intervention, prevention efforts, behavioral interventions, and collaboration and implementation of MTSS interventions.
