Job Summary
OVERVIEW :
Under the direction of the school assistant principal, to perform a variety of duties associated with supervision of students on campus, and to do related work as directed or required.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Supervise and patrol the student parking lot by controlling the speed of cars, loitering in cars, unauthorized cars on campus, and proper parking of cars;
- Patrol areas such as the auditorium, gym, locker room, and restrooms in an attempt to stop smoking, vandalism, bullying, and other at-risk behaviors in these areas;
- Assist in supervising student activity areas and library during lunch period;
- Assist in general supervision of campus as directed by the assistant principal;
- Assist in afternoon bus loading as needed;
- Report any inappropriate activities or unauthorized persons on or around campus to school administrators;
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work;
- Perform related duties as assigned.
