Job Summary: This position supports the marketing initiatives of the hospital through support in social media marketing, online presence/listings, community and physician relations, and other special project assignments with ultimate goal of driving brand awareness and patient acquisition. This position will assist the Marketing Director with the Hospital Foundation and Auxiliary.
Qualifications/Reporting:
Required minimum education: Background in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or similar discipline. HS/GED required but Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required minimum experience: Four years experience in required skills listed below.
Required skills (if applicable): Experience with website maintenance, mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Google , and Instagram, understanding of social media best practices, strong photography and editing skills, knowledge and understanding of engaging content, excellent written and oral communication skills.
This role will also assist in project management and administrative tasks to ensure that deadlines are met, and the marketing team operates with supreme efficiency. A successful candidate should be highly organized, eager to learn, and possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required license/certification: Current DL and Liability Insurance.

Job titles reporting to this position: Has no direct supervisory requirements.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing on marketing tasks and collaborating with other functional areas. These efforts should support the business goals across all channels including, digital advertising, traditional advertising, social media, and email marketing.
- Execute marketing operations and business development tasks
- Work collaboratively to incorporate varying messages into standard communications channels
- Support development and publication of communications deliverables (articles, events, blogs, videos, etc.) on the corporate intranet and other channels
- Assist in developing all types of consumer-facing digital communications
- Manage content across social media channels
- Support social media monitoring & reputation management
- Assist in project management and administrative tasks
- Work directly with vendors and contractors to facilitate coordination and execution of marketing and communications deliverables
- Maintain and update hospital website
- Complete special projects as needed, which are in the scope of this position
