What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner-PRN position at Palo Pinto General Hospital?
Job Summary: Provides nursing service in an expanded role as an adult nurse practitioner to individuals age 12 plus. Through the use of approved protocols, under the direction of a physician health clinic setting provides direct clinic services and quality assurance. Collaborates with physicians, local health care facilities, to provide the delivery of services available for patients needs in a timely manner. Consults with clinic physician on a monthly review of patient’s care according to approved nurse practitioner protocols to evaluate quality assurance in an expanded role of adult nurse practitioner. May work as needed in other clinics in addition to the Heart Center.
