What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Tech position at Palo Pinto General Hospital?
Job Summary: Assists in maximizing the efficiency of the surgical department by helping with transport, turnovers, supply monitoring, and other duties as needed. This PCT will perform functions to enable compliance with hospital policies and procedures, and Joint commission accreditation standards. Also assist nursing staff with necessary patient care. Under the supervision of nursing staff, members assist in providing patient care and maintains a clean environment.
Qualifications/Reporting:
Required minimum education: High School graduate or equivalent
Required minimum experience: One-year experience in a medical setting preferred.
Required skills (if applicable): Ability to read and write English, effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions.
Required license/certification: Texas Nursing Assistant certification preferred. Current BLS certification required.
