Description
Academic Urology & Urogynecology of Arizona (owned and operated by Palo Verde Cancer Specialists) is searching for an Advanced Practice Practitioner (NP or PA) to join our ever-growing practice! This position would be hospital-based and will require travel between several of our hospital affiliates thoughout the West / North Valley.
General Duties & Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant :
- Performs complete evaluations on patients of all ages
- Orders and interprets appropriate lab, x-ray, and special studies
- Establishes a working diagnosis based upon acquired data
- Develops a treatment plan for urological conditions in accordance with current urology practice and in conjunction with the urologist
- Implements therapeutic intervention
- Provides appropriate follow-up care
- Exercises judgment on conditions requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising urologist or other healthcare professionals
- All other duties as assigned
