Description
This position coordinates workflow relating to all functions and duties required to ensure the ongoing availability of supplies, instrumentation, and equipment under the direct supervision of the Logistics Manager. It also provides a variety of direct patient care services to assist with the implementation of selected portions of care.
Job Responsibilities:
This role will include but is not limited to the below. Please note, this role is unique and ever-evolving as the Supply Chain, Practice, and patients’ needs evolve.
- Respond promptly and reliably to provider and staff requests, as well as patient needs.
- Provide quality administrative support.
- Coordinate with warehouse and/or Supply Chain personnel to manage inventory and ensure all products/equipment are scheduled and moved accordingly.
- Initiate purchases and material requests.
- Effectively integrate with and contribute to various departments/teams (nursing, scheduling, administrative, etc.)
- Perform administrative-level duties as required.
- Resolve daily scheduling issues related to supplies and equipment
- Provide customer service for patients
- Act as a resource to proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and supply chain issues.
- Assist in effective training with new materials and equipment
Requirements
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with the healthcare system and its operational procedures
- Reliable Transportation: you will travel to multiple locations daily
- Comfortable working out of multiple different systems
- Able to be on your feet for 8 hours and lift 50lbs
- Multitasking and exceptional organizational skills
- Must be flexible with tasks and comfortable with constant change
