This is a great opportunity for an entry-level position into a career in Food & Beverage, including prep and line cook.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas.

• Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster.
• Set up or break down dishwashing area.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep/mop floors.
• Sweep up trash around garbage dumpster.
• Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry and clean
• Must notify Manager anytime dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
• Never touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing hands first.
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster.
• Set up or break down dishwashing area.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Lifting and carrying (heavy trays, dish racks, kitchen equipment)
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Bending and stooping (reaching low and high to load and unload dishes)
• Repetitive motions (including scrubbing, rinsing, stacking)
• Pushing and pulling
• Gripping and handling (able to handle wet, soapy and potentially hot dishes and utensils safely)
