The Beverage Cart Attendant position is responsible for the elevated experience of on-course food and beverage at Destination Geneva National. Whether you are covering the signature courses designed Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, or Lee Trevino Course, or serving/bartending at one of our other outlets, the responsibility is to create a legendary experience for our guests and members by providing prompt, engaging and memorable customer service! We look forward to driven and versatile individuals who can fill any slot, whether it is beverage cart, on-course snack bar, server, or bartender.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Take food and drink orders from golfers on-course in a timely manner.
Mix cocktails to order.
Safely operate a portable bar/beverage cart in a fast-paced environment.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, maintaining a positive attitude throughout shift.
Communicate clearly with staff and members.
Accurately describe all food & drink offerings, making suggestions/ideas for substitutions as necessary.
Collect and process payments accurately via an electronic POS system.
Maintain clean/sanitary serving and prep areas
Efficiently cover assigned course.
Operate with integrity while unsupervised
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have one year of serving experience
Must possess driver's license and clean driving record
Must be age 18 per Wisconsin law
Must acquire an operator's license for the Town of Geneva, WI. (This can be secured upon hire.)
Professional communication and sales skills along with a positive and friendly attitude
Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Familiarity with golf course rules and regulations to ensure a positive experience for golfers
Physical stamina to spend extended period outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, as well as carry heavy trays and coolers
Availability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings
