Our lodging includes the recently redesigned 146-room Ridge Hotel, the Cottages at Destination GN, and the brand-new executive Suites at Destination GN.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Perform general cleaning duties in public areas (e.g., wipe stairwells, windows, doors, etc., as well as general dusting)
• Stock rooms and room attendant carts with supplies
• Wash windows in all areas, inside and out
• Clean glasses
• Vacuum hallways and maintain vacuum equipment
• Bring dirty linen to the Housekeeping department, help launder and fold
• Take out garbage in each room, assist housekeepers in rooms as needed
• Put away orders when product is received
• Attend to room calls
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks, such as lifting and bending.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift and carry heavy objects, such as furniture and supplies.
Bend, stoop, and reach to clean low-lying areas and pick up debris.
Push and pull with force when moving equipment or carts.
Perform repetitive movements, such as vacuuming and mopping.
Climb stairs or ladders as needed to access elevated areas.
Demonstrate good manual dexterity for tasks like making beds and folding linens.
